Violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth and cellist Jim Higgins are accomplished professional musicians, experienced in contracting musicians for, and performing in a variety of ensembles for corporate events, parties, wine tastings, art gallery events, weddings and receptions. We may include a vocalist, and/or pianist in the group if you wish. (Click "musicians" to see our profiles.)

We offer string quartets, trios, and even duets for small intimate gatherings. If you prefer harp, we offer ensembles such as harp and violin or harp, violin and cello. Other groups include flute and strings, trumpet and strings, and larger orchestral ensembles. We may include a pianist in the group if you wish.

Our piano and violin duo plays classical, opera tunes, movie themes, Latin sambas/tangos, etc..or pop standards with the violin as voice on the vocal lines, with great jazz variations. Our pianist takes requests on the spot, too.

WEDDINGS

We are very experienced in performing wedding ceremonies, and helping brides through the music selection process. Whether your ceremony will be Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, or before a judge, we will have the best selections of music for you; not all ceremonial music is listed on our website. We allow up to one hour and 15 minutes for our wedding hour fee. Typically, we will play prelude music for your guests as they arrive, starting about 30 minutes before the ceremony, and then allow 30-45 minutes for the ceremony and recessional. Some brides prefer to book us for 2 hours, allowing for a "cocktail" or "transition time" before the actual reception begins. Our string group allows for good conversation time, as our volume level is not overbearing. When the reception band arrives, it can be a bit difficult to hold conversations. There are many details we are ready to discuss with you, and the bride is always right! Just give LeeAnne a call at 817.303.4189. (after 9 am please)

What makes us stand out from other ensembles in the area?

We have our own music arranger and published composer for string ensembles, Jim Higgins. Not only do we have classical music from Bach to Tchiakowsvy, we have opera arias, movie themes, pops, Broadway, Texas tunes, tangos and the list goes on! No matter how large or small your event, and budget may be, we will produce the right ensemble for you. Even budget-minded customers can find our musicians most helpful; a soloist or duet may be the solution.
